FOBP sponsored a press conference at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in front of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC, at the Robert F. Kennedy Bldg.
Andy Ramirez, FOBP chairman issued the following statement: "We flew our special guests in from across America for this unprecedented gathering of America's first political prisoners. All have been victimized and targeted for doing their job in violation of the Bush policies, which support amnesty and open borders, some have served time in America's GULAG, while the criminals they attempted to apprehend walk free today, and have been given large settlements. Our victims deserve justice today, with their lives, names, and reputations fully restored!"

Mrs. Patty Compean, representing her husband, Senior Patrol Agent Jose A. Compean of El Paso, TX, who is serving 12 years in an Ohio prison for doing his job. (Johnny Sutton victim)
Senior Patrol Agent Gary Brugman of San Antonio, TX who served 2 years in Yazoo City, MS for doing his job. (Johnny Sutton victim)
Senior Patrol Agent Noe Aleman, Jr. (joined with wife Isabel) who was prosecuted for a typo on a form, and who's daughters civil rights were violated. (Johnny Sutton victim)
Attorney Jack Wolfe (former Assistant U.S. Attorney), representing Senior Patrol Agent David Sipe who was prosecuted for doing his job in McAllen, TX. (US Attorney Southern District of Texas)
Attorney Steve Cohen, representing CBP Agent Robert Rhodes, III of Buffalo, NY, who was prosecuted at the request of the Government of the People's Republic of China with full compliance of numerous Bush Administration U.S. departments. (Michael Battle, US Attorney who fired the 8 US Attorneys began this prosecution)
9-11 Families for a Secure America representatives: Joan Molinaro, Peter Gadiel, and Bruce DeCell
Representatives were invited to appear on behalf of Prince George's County Police Department (Maryland) K-9 Officer Stephanie Mohr who was prosecuted in a witchhunt by the local U.S. Attorney's office though the event began as she and her partner attempted to apprehend two illegal aliens during a B&E crime in progress. She has served 5 years of a 10 year sentence.
