Ron Prince, Vice-Chairman
Ron Prince is the principle co-author of Proposition 187, which was overwhemingly passed by California voters in 1994. His work led to a national movement in which people across America addressed illegal immigration within their respective states. Sections of Prop 187 were adopted into law. In fact, Prop 187 led to across the board reforms passed by the Congress and signed into law by President Bill Clinton. Those sections that were delayed by then-Governor Wilson and Attorney General Lundgren and mediated out of court by successor Governor Gray Davis and Attorney General Bill Lockyer.
Ron is a well noted community activist who has continued to work on public movements assisting various community projects dedicated to improving the plight of disadvantaged people. He also stepped up to fight against driver's licenses for illegal aliens, which has been the primary work and goal of California State Legislator "One Bill Gil" Cedillo.
Ron is a co-founder of FOBP and has served as a Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors. As Vice-Chairman Mr. Prince has assisted in reviewing laws and policies that affect immigration. He also led FOBP's search for appellate counsel in the Compean and Ramos case.
